Crackle and Pop
Nothing beats coming home from work or school slipping your shoes off and sitting in front of a glowing Wood burner in the middle of Winter , Listening to the Crackle and Pop of the wood burning. Its my idea of heaven after a hard days work .
The Television is rarely on in our house we all sit round the stove reading ,drinking , just chilling out ,my daughters favourite pastime is staring at the fire looking at mysterious shapes and faces appearing as the fire burns.
When we moved into our Home we had radiators blazing night and day trying to keep us all warm (It cost a small fortune) Luckily for me one of my brothers had just installed a brand new woodburner and he invited me and the family to his house for the first burn of the season on his new stove.
Now imagine if you will its mid winter, cold, wet and windy which is typical of the weather up in Northumbria we arrive at my brothers doorstep , he opens the door with a huge cheesy grin and a reddened face. We enter to find half the street crowded round this Large Woodburner with drinks in hand all with red faces some in T shirts ,( remember its winter)! Wow, the heat that was generated around his house was amazing.I wanted one .
To cut a long story short i acquired a brand new little woody myself only weeks later after seeing my brothers in action, i installed it myself , took me a day, Kids and the misses love it, I love it,
.
I bought my stove from www.arada.uk.com
